At first I really liked this album, then it sort of fell out of my rotation. Then I started listening to it, really listening to it, and its absolutely brilliant. The riffs are addictive and get stuck in my head for days on end. I feel like the best way to describe this music is it's textured. It feels like a physical object made of out impossibly intricate patterns of repetition and geometric forms. Truly a landmark metal release. LazerShoes

When I heard it, I called it thrash-tech death metal, but it's too special to be categorized so strictly. Revocation is good, and they might as well be their own genre. gore-founder
